We had a great turnout for our PAWdicure event last night! Thanks to everyone who came out to participate and raise money for Friends of the Dearborn Animal Shelter!
13 dogs came for a complimentary PAWdicure, that’s 52 feet and about 234 nails (give or take a few dewclaws). Camp Ranger Tony was working his magic on the Dremel with Camp Counselor Kayla.
The dogs were patiently waiting their turn and each enjoyed sniffing (and usually licking) their nail oil and paw cream, provided by PETfection. The dogs sniffed out their choice of lavender or peppermint paw creme, and some of the biggest boys chose the lavender scent, I promised I wouldn’t tell anyone they were leaving with “girlie feet”.
Everyone was walking proud with nice smooth short nails and soft pads!
If you missed out on this event but are in need of a nail trim, give us a call at Camp! Nail trims (with Dremel) are $10 and we can do them as a walk-in, by appointment or before your dog goes home after a day of play. Want to add a bath? We can do that too! Just let us know at drop off and we’ll take care of it for you, no need to mess up your bathroom at home.
