The holiday is quickly approaching, so if your plans don’t involve trekking up north with your carsick canine, make your boarding reservations early!
Memorial weekend is a popular time for your pups “stay-cation” at Camp Bow Wow, so get your reservations set early to guarantee your pup a spot!
Here’s a few things to remember:
- All new Campers must complete the interview process before we can accept their boarding reservation (no worries, it’s a FREE day of play!)
- We require up to date vaccinations for all of our Campers including Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella. Bordetella is a preventative for canine cough and needs to be requested from your vet. If your dog has never been to Camp they likely don’t have it; so check those records! You can ask your vet to fax your dogs most updated records to us at (586) 775-9663.
- If your dog hasn’t Camped in a while, let them come for daycare to acclimate to the pack. No one likes being the “new kid” on the playground and with our pack ever growing and changing it might be beneficial for your dog to enjoy a few days of daycare prior to checking in for their boarding stay.
Don’t forget to leave a few minutes at drop off and pick up to go over paperwork. We do recommend you bring your food from home as it’s less likely to upset your dogs stomach but we have plenty of bowls to go around.
