Dog Bite Prevention Program

1374336_10153332135640296_2076492270_nCamp Bow Wow has launched a Dog Bite Prevention Program that centers around our mascot, Scout. The program includes a book from Scouts perspective, “Scout Says, Dogs Get Nervous Too”.

There are more than 4.7 million dog bites each year and 50% occur among children under age 12. Through this initiative, Camp Bow Wow will be traveling to local schools, libraries and other community venues to educate children and their families about dog bite prevention.

The majority of dog bites happen in everyday scenarios with familiar animals but there are warning signs to keep you and your family safe.
