The Spay-Ghetti and No Balls event on Tuesday, Feb 25th was a huge hit! Our friends at the Pepperoni Grille graciously hosted both our Camp and the Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society (GPAAS) for this fundraiser to raise awareness and money for spaying and neutering pets.
Girl Scouts representing troop #70958 & 30530 were on-site to help us out and offered stickers, magnets and information to guests as they entered. They also collected money for the ball bonanza and drawing slips for the $50 Camp Bow Wow Saint Clair Shores gift certificate. These little ladies were a big help, we’ve got them on speed dial for when they’re old enough to come work at Camp!
Even the Michigan weather couldn’t slow down the fundraiser. The steady fall of snow didn’t stop the families who were out in droves to support the Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society (GPAAS) and enjoy some delicious food and great company.
A big thanks to Jason and his staff at the Pepperoni Grille for so generously opening their doors to host everyone and offered the entire menu for the fundraiser, donating 15% of the total bill to GPAAS.
Delicious food and great service were the perfect addition to great company as friends and strangers came together to celebrate National Spay and Neuter Day.
We don’t have official totals yet on how much was raised but you can bet you’ll be the first to know as soon as we do. Again, a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support this important event! Don’t forget to schedule your nail trims or baths if you won a lucky spin with ball bonanza!
Congrats Erika K., you and Zoey won the $50 Camp Bow Wow Gift Certificate!
