Donation Dropbox

dog-santa-hat-1Thank you to everyone who has stopped by and deposited essential items into our donation dropbox! We have plenty of space for more donations and local area shelters are in need. Shelters take on a huge expense in taking dogs in need off the street and placing them in good homes. Aside from  love and attention, they all need they all require medical attention including vaccinations, sterilization, food and shelter. Some dogs need months of care before they can begin the foster and/or adoption process and the cost adds up quickly.

When can I donate?

We’ll be accepting donations until Christmas, so stop by Camp anytime and add to our growing collection! The box is right in the lobby for your convenience.

What should I donate?

There are countless items that shelters always need but we’ve composed a list of the items needed most:

  • Unopened dog food (wet and dry)
  • Unopened peanut butter
  • Leashes and collars
  • Kong brand or other durable dog toys
  • Blankets and towels
  • Laundry detergent
  • Crates of any size
  • Monetary donations

These are just a few of the key items that shelters use on a daily basis and can never have enough of! Volunteers are priceless and they are what keep these rescue organizations going. Volunteers walk the dogs, provide transport, do the laundry, clean the cabins and countless other things. There is a wide variety of tasks required to keep the dogs happy and healthy so if you can provide assistance in that area contact your local shelter about volunteering.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far and the rest who will be donating, your generosity is greatly appreciated!
