Sonny is a 7-year old Golden Retriever that has been a daycare member since 2009.
Sonny loves to exercise
Sonny uses Camp for socialization and exercise. His exercise regime begins with cardiovascular exercise. Also known as trolloping through the front door, running through the lobby and searching the office for backstock dog treats.
His cool down begins when he makes his way to the cookie jar, where he is certain all the cookies are for him and him alone.
It’s important to stretch during physical exercise, so we make Sonny do his “shake” trick with both paws to stretch out those appendages before he gets a cookie.
In the afternoon, Sonny does his intense legwork by doing doggie squats. Also known as half resting on the play equipment as seen in this screen-shot (bottom right corner).
Sonny’s end routine involves a lot of deep breathing, almost like doggie Yoga but instead of upside down dog he prefers “on his side” dog. The deep breathing sometimes involves snoring.
Sonny loves Camp almost as much as we love having him and we look forward to helping him keep in shape and flaunt that svelte golden figure!
