Friday is finally here and even after the mid-week holiday, we’re all excited for a break from the weekly grind.
For most, Saturday is a day to catch up on chores around the house, spend time with family and maybe BBQ or hit the pool. While you’re relaxing with your loved ones at home a group of cats and dogs from the Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society will be hoping to find their fur-ever homes. Tomorrow, one of these dogs will be Robby.
We have had the joy of getting to know Robby when he boarded with us here at Camp. This one year old Pit Bull Terrier is 60lbs of love. There is nothing Robby loves more than affection…well, maybe toys. Robby loves to play!
The combination of his sweet disposition and desire to please makes him very trainable and the ideal dog for someone who has the time to give him the attention he deserves. He has a lot of energy but even more love to give.
We’re not sure what Robby’s back story is, he showed up at GPAAS in need of care and they provided it and now it’s time for Robby to find a home.
Every Friday our blog is going to feature a dog that’s in need of a loving home. While the long-term goal is for all these pets to find permanent homes, foster homes are essential to the adoption process.
Learn More About GPAAS
If you aren’t ready to make the long-term commitment of pet ownership please consider fostering. Your willingness to help out local adoption agencies like the Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society (GPAAS) and the Detroit Dog Rescue (DDR) can save lives and help these animals find homes.
GPAAS also has cats for adoption and fostering, but for now we’re going to focus on the dogs. After all, we’re Camp Bow Wow, not Camp Meow-Meow.
