We all have a New Year’s resolution for 2013. Maybe it’s to eat better, or to go to the gym at least 3 times a week. For some of us, our New Year’s Resolution could involve spending more time with family and friends. This includes our pets. Have you noticed over the last few months that your pup is jumping over fences or pulling food off the table when you’re not looking? Maybe they are even going so far as pushing you over when you walk in the door, or bolting out the front door as soon as you open it.
If your pup is doing any of the above behaviors, you may not be spending enough time training them. When a dog is feeling neglected, or isn’t being rewarded for their good behavior, then they won’t understand the difference between right and wrong.
At Camp Bow Wow, we offer training classes specifically targeted at training your pup to listen to your commands. We don’t just train your dog, we teach you how to train your dog. At the culmination of a training course, you will take with you a long list of training tips to utilize in the future.
Your dog will learn how to sit, stay, lay down, return to their “spot” and come when you call. We will also show you the proper way to reward a pup and the wrong ways to “scold” them.
